How does it all work? We feel that once you understand mailing services you will find them to be a "no-brainer". However, you will also realize that doing it yourself takes time away from operating and physically promoting your business. We can mail your postcards and save you money on the postage, which will make our mailing services just about free.

What it will cost you to do it yourself... Normally your postage for a 4.25" x 6" postcard is 23 cents. That is the maximum size for the 23-cent rate. If we do the mailing services for you the postage will be anywhere from 17.6 cents to 19.4 cents per piece. You can also join a co-op mailing where the cost can actually be significantly less.

Why? 

Well, we lease a special software package from the U.S. Post Office that reads the addresses and assigns each a barcode. This software also removes all the addresses it recognizes as undeliverable so that you don't pay postage for cards that will inevitably be returned because of a bad address. The Post Office gives a discount because they are automated now and prefer to have machines read the barcodes instead of having people read the addresses. This software is updated every three months and of course, people do move and businesses do go under, so there will still be a few bad addresses and postcards returned. 

What you will save if we do it for you 

We charge you 4 cents per piece to inkjet the addresses onto your postcards. This price covers the contact name, address and the presort barcode and you save approximately 4 cents per card on postage because of our presorting process. That means virtually no extra cost for you to let us do it for you, and sometimes it even costs you less. You are saving time, shipping charges, the cost of labels and the cost of manual labor to adhere the labels. 

See why we call it a 'no-brainer'? 

There are many rules and regulations in this mailing game and the post office changes them constantly. So, although the concept is a definite 'no-brainer' the entire subject is definitely not. If you need additional info, it can also be printed on the card at the time of addressing for a slight additional charge. Ask your sales rep for details. 

Submitting your own list? 

Please try to send it in one of the following formats:
Excel - Please make sure each field is in its own column. Example - Company, contact, street & suite number, city, etc..
Text - Comma Delimited or Tab Delimited.
